Ethos files final argument in Polygamy Reference

Monique is counsel for the BC Civil Liberties Association in the Reference concerning the constitutionality of Canada’s anti-polygamy law. Today, she filed the BCCLA's final argument in the Polygamy Reference, which argues that s. 293 of the Criminal Code violates the individual's liberty and security of the person in a manner offensive to s. 7 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
